A Tribute from the Family and SANDRINI Metalli
Five years have passed since the loss of Alberto Damioli, who passed away on October 1, 2021, at just 33 years of age.
His absence has not faded with time, neither within his family nor at SANDRINI Metalli, where, despite his young age, Alberto had already taken on an important role and left a lasting mark.
Alberto was primarily responsible for the company’s commercial activities and purchasing operations. He had a natural ability to understand the market, recognize opportunities, and look beyond the present.
Determined and forward-thinking, he possessed a genuine entrepreneurial spirit. Those who had the opportunity to work alongside him still remember his intuition, energy, interpersonal skills, and the vision that often enabled him to see the path forward before others did.
But before being a professional and an entrepreneur, Alberto was a son, a husband, and the father of Alessandro and Pietro, who were still very young when he passed away.
Five years after his loss, his mother, Lorenza Sandrini, remembers him with words that reflect the depth of a bond that time cannot erase:
Over these five years, not a single day has gone by without me thinking of Alberto.
I think of him as my son, as the father of his children, and as the extraordinary young entrepreneur he was.
Even today, when facing important decisions within our company, I find myself wondering what Alberto would have thought, what he would have done, and which path he would have chosen.
We have continued to grow and build, as life requires us to do, but Alberto has remained with us.
And with me, every single day.– Lorenza Sandrini
Over the past five years, SANDRINI Metalli has continued to grow, taking on new challenges and launching new investments and projects. Throughout this journey, the human and entrepreneurial legacy left by Alberto has remained very much alive.
Some presences are never erased by time, because they continue to live on in the people and places that keep their memory alive.
The Sandrini-Damioli family and everyone at SANDRINI Metalli remember Alberto with enduring love, gratitude, and pride.
